| When Excellence in Academics Meets Cultural Opportunity |
| Since its beginnings in the 1960’s, at the request of American campuses sending students abroad forging the link between the French and American educational worlds has been CUPA’s mission. |

Young American students were filling the lecture halls of the Sorbonne as auditors and exchanges took place between students, host families and also during cultural excursions throughout France.
An evolution came about with the growing demand in the 80’s and 90’s for more specialized programs, for Americans, and for study abroad for French students on US campuses. CUPA implemented à la carte programs for American students and forged privileged official relationships with French universities seeking more exchanges. Today these exchanges have extended to a large number of Parisian institutions, including numerous branches of the University of Paris, but also schools of fine and performing arts, conservatories. Research projects, independent studies and internships are additional opportunities which CUPA offers to the exceptional student body which the program attracts. ![]() Mosaic - © CUPA
